The IHA Scholarship Endowment Fund was established in 1990 to provide funds for tuition assistance for financially needy students and to award academically talented young women. The fund currently has assets of approximately $3 million.

Donations to the fund come primarily from alumnae, parents, and friends of IHA through IHA news solicitations, the Annual Fund, and various fundraisers.

In addition to the endowment fund, scholarships are provided by the One-on-One Scholarship program through which individuals sponsor a student for four years and through various memorial scholarships. These scholarships are awarded on the basis of the criteria set by the donors.

Students apply for financial aid through Private School Aid Services. This independent service evaluates need and provides the school with relevant information to fairly distribute endowment funds. These applications are available in the Business Office.

The One-on-One Scholarship Program began more than 20 years ago by the generosity of the late Dr. Theodore and Mrs. Bauer. This scholarship provides full tuition scholarships to students with financial need. If you are financially able to sponsor a student for four years, please consider the One-on-One program.
